As children grow, it is common for them to experience occasional problems as they grow and
mature. They may experience conflicts at home over issues such as toilet training, bedtime and
homework, or they may have difficulty in school. Occasionally, you may even observe your child
display emotional outbursts or tantrums. Psychotherapy for children may be warranted when a child’s
emotional or behavioral problems seem outside the norm for their age group, or when difficulties
interfere with normal family or educational functioning.
